Protecting the privacy of our customers is of paramount importance to us.

Following the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25th May 2018 we have reviewed and updated our privacy policy. 

The GDPR introduces new rules about how businesses can use personal data and new rights for individuals as to how their data can be used. 

This privacy policy sets out how One Cost Limited uses and protects any information that you give us when you use our services or websites.

We do not collect any special categories of personal data as defined under the GDPR.

What we do with the information we gather

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

We are the sole owners of information collected on our website. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give to us via our website contact form or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone else.

We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will require your agreement to share any personal details with any other third parties to fulfil our agreement with you.

To our service providers, business partners and contractors who provide services on our behalf or who we use to support our business.

We may need to disclose your details if required to by the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and our registration number is ZA805279.

Your personal data will be held and processed on One Cost’s systems. We maintain secure systems to hold separate contact details for each customer and your data is always held securely.

Access to customer information is strictly controlled and can only be accessed by people who need it to do their job. Certain data, for example financially sensitive information, is additionally controlled and is only made visible to members of staff who have a reason to work with it.

Social Media and Web activity 

We use social media to send messages and updates about events and news. 

On occasion we may reply to comments or questions you make to us on social media platforms. 

Depending on your settings or the privacy policies on social media and messaging services like Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter, you might give third parties permission to access information from those accounts or services.

How we use cookies

Data Retention

Business data is held by us for as long as is legally or practically necessary for our business. Once that necessity is past, we have a regular programme of data review and deletion. We only keep your personally identifiable information for as long as you have a relationship with us and where there is a legitimate reason to do so.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.
